Harvest Recital Series

Rich color tones, cool weather, falling leaves, pumpkin spice, warm boots, cozy scarves, and a warm cup of hot chocolate... What can say "Autumn" more than that? I know! A small, cozy series of Harvest Recitals! As we approach the end of summer, I've been trying to think of ways to "welcome in fall" and create an atmosphere of gratitude that goes hand in hand with this seasons biggest holiday- Thanksgiving! Even though we are just at the start of September, it is so much fun to see all the stores putting out their pumpkins and leafy decorations. Am I right? Or crazy?! Some are probably still in denial that summer has pretty much come to a close... But I am fully ready to embrace some cooler weather. Anyway, getting back to things, I am so excited to announce that Mrs. Megan's Music Studio is going to be hosting their first ever Harvest Recital Series! This past spring, we modified the recital from what we were use to. And even though we all couldn't be "together", I believe that everyone still felt like they were part of something truly special and unique. So, I'd like to expand upon that idea and create something similar. My goal with any recital, no matter how big or small, in person, or online-- is to create an inspirational cycle. Older students have the opportunity to see younger performers and reflect back on how far they have come. And younger performers can look ahead to the older performers to see what their hard work can sound like!

After sending out a survey to all current piano families, I got an overwhelming amount of positive feedback regarding very small, in-person recitals. There will be 3 parts to this Harvest Recital Series all in the month of October. In contrast to previous recitals, there will be 5-6 performers in each recital, and each performer is able to bring 2 guests to attend the performance. This recital series will be available both online and in person.

To RSVP for one of these events, please check out the "Events" page on the main part of this website. You can also find this page by clicking here: www.mrsmegansmusicstudio.com/Events
